What a great app. I was looking for something like this for years, first on PC then Mac. Now I have it on my iPhone!
I love this app on my iPod Touch! It is exactly the kind of thing I need to brush up on my world geography (and Ive memorised all the flags as well!). I am happy to recommend it as is to my friends in Japan (especially my fellow expats, who tend to love this kind of thing), though I think it could be improved further. If the programmers are reading I would like to add that I would LOVE to see the exact same educational app made for all the other continents!!! If they are made with the same quality and affordable price, Ill buy them immediately. :)
Minor problems that I hope can be fixed in future updates:
- The pin over Malta looks like it is in Sicily (not all the location pins on the map have little lines going down like that one does, so it seems like its just a little red button over a part of Italy instead of a pinpoint coming out of The tiny islands of Malta).
- When you touch Baku, Azerbaijan you can rarely see the name of the city itself. It disappears off screen almost immediately if it even appeared fully onscreen in the first place. I would like to see the programmers expand the playing area (map) so that such problems are reduced;
- It would be nice to see all of Russia, Kazakhstan, &c.

Addictive :-) I failed to learn much geography in school. I should have had this game. Next life...

This app is very cool!
By asking for a country and letting you click the map, it keeps the interface so clean and straight forward.
My kids love it, though its clear they need to work on their European geography!
I find myself just playing it because I love the interface, and I wind up learning where countries are.
Much of what I didnt learn about Europe in school took just two days to learn here. And it was fun. Would have given it five stars if there were more maps available. Because Ive conquered Europe. Now Im ready to take on the world!
I really like the app, but I wish you had an option to switch to other continents. This will be useful for my World Regional Geography students to learn their European countries. Thanks!
This is a wonderful app. I learned the locations and flags of all the European countries in no time. I probably would have also learned the capitals but I already knew them. Be forewarned that the capitals extrnsion costs money. I would buy the extension for any other continent besides Europe. Please add the other continents!
